NHL is a series of professional ice hockey simulation video games developed by EA Vancouver and published yearly by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports brand.
The game is developed under license from the National Hockey League (NHL), which enables the use of the league’s team names, stadiums and colors in the game, and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), which enables the use of the League’s player names and likenesses.

Can You Play NHL 22 on PC?
Currently, you can’t play NHL 22 PC and the reasons are as follows:
- There is no NHL 22 PC version.
- NHL 22 is not playable on any cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud, PlayStation Plus/Now, GeForce Now, etc.
- You can’t play NHL 22 on PC via an emulator. NHL 22 platforms include PS4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. However, there are no usable emulators for these platforms. You can’t find a real PS4/5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X//S emulator.

How to Play NHL on PC
Although you can’t play the latest NHL games on PC, you can play NHL 14 and some older NHL games on PC via a PS3 emulator like RPCS3. Here is the guide:
Step 1: Download RPCS3 from its official website onto your Windows PC. Unzip the 7z file and you will see a rpcs3.exe file. Run this file directly to launch RPCS3. Then, you need to grant access to RPCS3 to allow it to update its data or accept other settings.
Step 2: Go to this page and click the Download PS3 Update button to get the PS3 firmware. Go back to RPCS3, and click on File > Install Firmware. After the PS3 firmware is installed, the RPCS3 can emulate the PS3 software.
Step 3: Download the NHL PKG or ISO file online. There are many sources online. Then, on the RPCS3 window, click File > Install .pkg and select the downloaded NHL PKG file. Or, click File > Boot Game and then select the downloaded NHL ISO file. Then, you can play NHL on PC.
