How to Turn Off McAfee Antivirus

What McAfee antivirus product do you use? Different McAfee products may have different turning-off methods.

How to Disable McAfee Security Center:

1. Right-click the McAfee icon at the bottom-right corner of your Windows Desktop.
2. Select Change settings > Real-time Scanning from the menu.
3. In the Real-Time Scanning status window, click the Turn off button.
4. You are asked to specify when you want Real-Time Scanning to resume. Select Never from the drop-down menu. Click on the Turn off button to confirm your selection.
5. Right-click the McAfee icon again and then select Change settings > Firewall.
