Step 1: connect your phone to a mouse through an OTG adapter.

Use an OTG Adapter
An OTG (On The Go) adapter is for connecting a full-sized USB flash drive or USB A cable to a device like a phone or a tablet through the Micro USB or USB-C charging port.
It can be purchased from lots of major retailers and it is not expensive. But before purchase, you should check whether your phone has the capabilities to use the OTG adapter, so check with the phone manufacturer to find out if your phone does.
Once make sure your phone has the capabilities to use the OTG adapter, you can purchase one. Then plugs the end (the Micro USB port) of the OTG adapter on your phone, and plug your computer mouse into the other end (USB-A adapter).
Turn on the USB Debugging Mode
Then go to turning on the USB Debugging mode on your phone. Once you turn on the mode, your phone can receive commands, files, and other data from your computer.
To turn the USB Debugging mode, you should:
- Click your mouse to unlock your phone.
- Open the Settings app on your phone using your mouse.
- Inside the Settings app, scroll down to the About phone menu.
- Choose Software information.
- Locate Build number and click the box seven times.
- Go back to the main interface of the Settings app and you will see an option called Developer options under the About phone menu.
- Under the new option, press the switch to turn on USB Debugging.
Connect Your Phone to Your Computer
Now connect your phone with a broken screen to your computer through a USB cable. Then, from your computer, you can access and open folders from your phone and move the data you want to your computer.
