Find the Target Fonts to Add to GIMP
To add fonts to GIMP, you need to find the fonts that you like most at first. According to statistics, there are hundreds of websites offering stylish fonts for free. For instance, you can find some great fonts on DaFont.com and FontSquirrel.com. Hence, you don’t have to worry about the source of fonts.
Download and Extract the Target Fonts
After finding the fonts to add, download them to your computer. In most cases, these fonts are contained in Zip file. Hence, you need to extract the Zip file before executing further steps. Right-click on the Zip folder and choose the Extract All option.
After that, you will be prompted to select a file location where you want to extract your font files. Then click on the Extract button to extract to the target file location.

Install the Fonts to GIMP
